I have been asked to make a presentation on my fiction in the Book Review / Lecture Series held at the Fairhope Public Library on Tuesday mornings. My date is March 14, at 10:30 AM. I’ll be giving a variation on the presentation I am to offer March 4 at 1 PM.
Three days until this event … looking forward to talking about Louisbourg and a bit about French Colonial and Acadian history at the Fairhope Library. Then about my transition from historian to novelist.
Though I’m 3000 kms to the south, I’ll be on two Nova Scotia Radio programs tomorrow (Feb 28, 2017) talking about the Nova Scotia Museum’s Canada 150 project. I’ll aim to explain the background and to encourage people to vote.
According to what I’m told, I’ll be on the Feb 28 broadcasts of Mainstreet Cape Breton and the Sheldon McLeod Show on 95.7.
It’s a small world … on radio.
My talk at Page and Palette has been pushed back from Feb. 28 to March 22, still at 6 pm.
The earlier date is Mardi Gras Day, a holiday in Fairhope. The thinking is that there will likely be more people able to attend the talk on March 22.
